“…Oh! I forgot Matthew lived he— er I-I mean forgot he was here! I didn’t realize he was out walking hahaha…” Arthur nervously stated, trying to laugh off his slip-up, “R-right then,” he cleared his throat turning his attention to the dog bowls.
Matthew huffed rounding the corner holding onto the three leashes in front of him, “My ass is getting out of shape… Glad you guys seem to be enjoying this little trip at least…” he muttered, adjusting his glasses and brushing off a bead of sweat from his cheek with his sleeve. He didn’t exactly like this routine of dog duty which actually meant ‘get dragged around by Alfred’s Labrador Mutt up and down the street.’ A-Dog, as Alfred had geniusly named him (short for Alpha Dog…or Ameridog… or Awesome Dog…. or whatever Matthew didn’t care ), had taken the lead, pulling Matthew along. It was a typical everyday walk, except this time was a ‘treat’, Matthew had acquired a special guest on their walk; Arthur’s little teacup yorkie named Biscuit ( heh, i get it… to match Crumpet his cat, Matthew mused ) whom seemed to acquire a temper with A-Dog and tried to bite at his leg when he got too close. But even if the two were bickering, Matthew still had one dog to rely on to keep his sanity and that was his Canadian Eskimo Dog that Matthew simply named Tim. Tim had taken the opportunity to fall back and walk beside Matthew rather than get caught up in the other two dog’s scuffle. Matthew smiled down at Tim, “Playin’ it smart, eh, buddy?” He reached down and gave him a brief scratch behind the ears.
Alfred cracked opened a freshly chilled coke and leaned up against the fridge, lazily crossing his right foot over his left ankle. Raising the can in the air to admire it, he said “Ahh, nothing like a nice cold coke to end a day of errands!” He parted his lips as he brought the coke to meet them, but instead of his mouth greeting the sickeningly sweet beverage, he found his lips welcoming the (thankfully just cleaned) kitchen tile as something that felt like a furry torpedo speared him in the back.
Matthew walked into the kitchen holding Biscuit’s and Tim’s leashes, seeking the third. “There you are, you impatient little— oh hey, you’re back.” He paused after noticing he stepped on something solid and … squishy, lifting his shoe to see Alfred below him. “That’s a good look for you. You know. Eating the floor.” Matthew smiled, almost a little too sweetly. He bent over and plucked the coke out of Alfred’s hand and took a chug, continuing to step on and over Alfred to unhook the leash from a jittery, whiny A-Dog, taking care not to get smacked by the huge wagging tail.
Alfred groaned and oof’d as Matthew stepped on him. He tried to protest about his swiped beverage, but since his face was full of dog tongue, he decided to keep his mouth closed. He loved his doofy dog, but not that much. “H-hey, pbbthh, stop that, e-enough!” He laughed as he pulled himself up into a sitting position while shoving his dog’s face out of his. (via )

Alfred started to tell him that there’s no need to ring the bell—the keys are in his pocket—, but before he could finish his sentence, the door opened to reveal Toris. “Oh, Mr. Jones, Mr. Kirkland, welcome back. I was expecting you home for lunch, and I was beginning to worry that something had happened.” Looking at Arthur, Toris said “Ah, judging by your face, Mr. Kirkland, I’m guessing that everything went well?” Alfred flinched and and Toris tilted his head in confusion. “Is everything alright, Mr. Jones?”
“Oh yes, everything is just peachy. We just stopped off to have a quick game of laser tag, and I guess we got a little uhh, carried away…and lost track of time.” Satisfied with his answer, Toris smiled and stepped aside, allowing them to come inside. “Here, I’ll take that from you.” With a silght grunt, Toris managed to relieve Alfred of the massive bag of dog food and other groceries and retreated into the kitchen.
“Funny…” Arthur mused, rubbing at his chin, “You can drag around my car for miles just to find me for a key, but lately, carrying groceries a few blocks down the street starts to wear you down? I believe you’re starting to experience the effects of… growing old, love.” Flashing him another grin, with a dark chuckle. He decided to go and assist Toris because it was only the gentleman thing to do…but before that he made sure to… give Alfred a friendly pat on the rump as Arthur walked by. “Ah, Let me help you with that, Toris, some of that is very heavy!”
“Whaaat? Me? OLD? Obviously someone needs to put their granny glasses on and—” He laughed and started to say something else, but then Arthur decided to cop a feel on his way into the kitchen, causing Alfred to clench his cheeks and jump as if he’d been electrocuted. Yeah, I’m the old one when he’s the one that acts like a vulgar old man. Absently rubbing his ass, he also made his way into the kitchen to grab a coke from the fridge.
Toris crouched down by one of the cabinets and carefully stacked the small cans of premium dog food, which he assumed was for Arthur’s pet. Tucking his hair behind his ear, he checked his wristwatch and stood to address the other two men. “It’s just about time for Mr. Williams to be getting back from his walk, shall I put a kettle on?” (via )

“Ahhh, gracious…” he chuckled, patting the side of Alfred’s face. “Come along, boy, the game’s over with.” He stated following the kids back to the entrance where he unstrapped his gear and returned it to the guide. Arthur winced, feeling pain shoot through his shoulder and back. He did fall pretty hard earlier! I’ll definitely be feeling that the rest of the week, most certainly… At least I can treat myself to a hot bath or something later on. Closing his eyes as he rubbed at his shoulder, he smiled fondly at the image of relaxing in a tub full of steamy water. That did sound really nice! Perhaps he could make the best of it after all.
Grumbling about how he would have “totally won if it wasn’t for those meddling kids and their pesky guns”, Alfred begrudgingly followed Arthur turned his gear in as well. After not spending any personal time with Arthur in quite a while, Alfred’d almost forgotten just how devilish he could be. Seeing him rub at his sore shoulder while smiling almost made him hope that he’d forgotten about their little wager, but part of him was very curious as to what he’d ask for. Probably gonna want me to rub his back after that doozy of a fall. Feeling tiny bit responsible for his tumble down rock mountain, he pursed his lips and hurried ahead to retrieve the groceries from the counter in time to hold the exit door open for Arthur once more.
“Ahh well, it seemed Lady Luck showed favor for me this time, hmhmmm…” smirking at him as they walked side by side back toward Alfred’s home. “Seems your plan backfired in the end, ha? …. Well anyway… I’m sure Toris is probably wondering where we are. We’ll just have to walk a little faster and— oh…” He paused and smiled, he almost forgot! “And as for my prize for winning—mind you it’s nothing serious, you have my word—but as for tonight, you will do me the honor of, how shall I put this now…. letting me top?” That coy little smirk just evolved into a full blown Cheshire cat grin.
Alfred came to a screeching halt. No, surely he hadn’t heard him correctly…? H-he wants to….wants to top. Arthur wants to top.Top. Top. TOP! Oh, the humanity~!A bead of sweat trickled down his forehead and he chewed on his bottom lip. Hold on, now. He rarely asks for this, and technically he did beat me…but, oh god, last time he pitched, I— he shook his head, unable to finish the thought. He swallowed and released the breath he didn’t know he was holding. Puffing out his chest in a false bravado, he said, ”W-well, I don’t have much choice, now, do I? As much as you don’t think it, I am a man of my word.” Sadly.
“Hm, well there’s a first time for everything,” he snorted, turning and continuing their walk, “Come along we’re almost there.” Keeping a now brisk pace in front of Alfred, almost to the point of a… skip? Arthur tried his best to contain his obvious excitement and eagerness. Now, now Arthur. Not now. Keep collected, act like it’s not a big deal— OH BUT IT IS A BIG DEAL. OHOHOHO. Arthur bit his lip, unable to stop grinning. Dammit, alright keep it together, Toris is in here. They finally arrived in front of Alfred’s home. Arthur took the liberty of ringing the doorbell considering Alfred had taken up the task of carrying the groceries all the way.

Arthur’s expression blanked for a moment, glancing down at his own lit up chestplate before looking back at Alfred, “Heh… and it seems I got a point in too in all that ruckus,” gesturing to Alfred’s blinking shoulderplate, “….Actually.” Raising his gun, pressing it against his chest shooting Alfred’s vest at point-blank range, “make that a couple more.”
Alfred’s jaw dropped and he quickly knocked Arthur’s gun away with his own before he could score any more points.”H-HEY!!” Wha- I— T-the balls…!! Alright, two can play at this game. Slipping his left hand to rest on the small of Arthur’s back, he yanked his smaller body to his own and kissed him deeply. Chest to chest, lips to lips, all testosterone and adrenaline, pulse pounding in their ears. Gracelessly, Alfred shoved Arthur up against the jagged edges of the climbing obstacle and angled his gun for the patch on Arthur’s shoulder. Pulling the trigger, he even the score once more.
Dammit to hell, this brat. His brows furrowed trying to struggle against him, successfully managing to knock Alfred’s gun away in return. But when he tried to open his mouth to yell at him, it was only met with …tongue. Alfred’s… tongue was in his mouth and they were… kissing.. against a wall…in the dark and… How long had it been? Four months? Six months, perhaps more since they last met outside a meeting or business? Suddenly, thoughts of the game just seemed to… disappear, along with his struggle. Alfred seemed to realize this too as his grip loosened which allowed Arthur’s hands to slide up into Alfred’s hair continuing this little heated moment. That is until a loud shrilling voice called out behind them, “EWWW GROSS, THERE’S ADULTS MAKING OUT IN HERE.” Arthur’s eyes shot open wide, breaking their kiss. He stared at Alfred then tried to peek behind him over his shoulder. The group of kids started to laugh by starting to shoot their laser guns at them, only to Arthur’s convenience Alfred had become a temporary human shield. He smirked at this thought.
Thinking that his plan was working when Arthur eased into the kiss, he smirked to himself and slid his hands into the back pockets of Arthur’s slacks, momentarily forgetting about the game at hand. It only lasted a moment, though, as his partner ripped his mouth away upon being discovered by what sounded like a gaggle of grade schoolers. As if being caught wasn’t enough, they immediately proceeded to laugh and fire a barrage of shots at them, or rather, at Alfred. His HP was draining quickly, and Arthur, the sneaky devil, seemed to have noticed this as he smirked and took measures to ensure that Alfred couldn’t remove his hands from his pockets. Normally he loved having his hands down Arthur’s pants, but FUCK, at this rate he was going to lose…!
Arthur’s laugh echoed as Alfred’s points finally drained to zero, his face was hilarious! That angry scowl he shot at Arthur was too much for him to handle as tears filled the corners of his eyes as he laughed harder. Once Alfred was out of the way the kids made their progress to take down Arthur, which of course they did, Arthur didn’t mind because he was still laughing at Alfred. “MY GOD, Y-Y-You— HAHAHAHA! That was bloody brilliant!! Oh god, when you tried to get away—and and I grabbed your hands HEHEHEHE!!” Arthur wiped the tears streaming from his face.
Arthur was right; the look of dumbfounded horror on his face must have been a sight to see, but really? He was crying from laughing so hard?! “I-IT’S NOT FUNNY!” He exclaimed as he finally managed to wrench Arthur’s hands from his wrists. His cheeks were sporting a lovely shade of pink that complimented his embarrassed scowl nicely. Even in the dark, Arthur seemed to have noticed this which fueled his laughter all the more. (via )
